At-Home Session​
             (April 27-June 12, 2020)                           
K2 Enrichment program, usually an after-school program in Nonantum Village, is providing a unique online program from April 27 to June 12 using STEAM projects with hands-on activities. We are hoping to offer students a format that allows for continued structure and online collaboration, providing an opportunity to continue their learning from home. Each week will provide a new theme, using easy-to-find materials that you have at home and occasionally materials provided by K2E (pick-up at Nonantum location). A weekly project/schedule will be sent to families via email Sunday evenings before Monday sessions.

​Zoom Meeting Schedule: Monday-Friday at 2:00-3:00 PM and/or 3:00-4:00 PM (welcome to join both sessions)
General Structure:
  • Monday: Weekly project review and questions/answers so students begin independent project work at home
  • Tuesday: Group Design Challenge and review of projects from home
  • Wednesday: Group Design Challenge and review of projects from home
  • Thursday: Share finished projects from home with the group
  • Friday: Yoga/mindfulness session

  • Themed dioramas
  • Creating a TV production/set
  • Cardboard automata
  • TinkerCAD
  • Lego bridge design
  • Popsicle stick boat design
