K2E is a STEM/STEAM program designed for friends who enjoy exploring science and building projects. Our mission is to provide hands-on, open-ended workshops in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), including sewing and art activities. Each session lasts approximately seven weeks, during which your child, in grades K through 5 and older, will attend K2E once a week. Throughout these sessions, they will engage in a variety of science activities and work on building projects over several weeks.

Weather-Related Closings, Delays, Cancellations, and Make-Up Workshops:

  • The K2 Enrichment Program will adhere to all closure, delay, and cancellation announcements from the Newton and Waltham Public Schools.
  • Missed workshops can be made up within the same session.
  • Workshops canceled by K2 Enrichment for reasons other than inclement weather (Staff illness, heat/AC, etc.) will be made up. 
  • The K2 Enrichment Program cannot offer refunds or credits for any missed workshops.
